Why do names need a separate check?

An understandable sentence can still mispronounce a person’s name. Keep the original spelling and diacritics: “Nguyễn Thị Hương” should not become “Nguyen Thi Huong” just to make a script easier to type. Ask the person how they say their name; a regional accent is not an error by itself. Avoid publishing somebody’s private voice recording as a pronunciation reference without permission.

How do you rewrite an ambiguous line?

Consider this invented team update:

Chị Hương review KPI Q3 vào 9h ngày 8/7. Doanh thu tăng 12,5%.

A candidate spoken version is:

Chị Hương sẽ rà soát các chỉ số hiệu quả của quý ba lúc chín giờ, ngày tám tháng bảy. Doanh thu tăng mười hai phẩy năm phần trăm.

The edit expands shorthand and chooses day/month order. Confirm that meaning against the source first: never guess whether “8/7” means July 8 or August 7. Likewise, a KPI label may have a team-specific meaning; spell it out only after confirming it. Keep the exact figure in a review note so a smooth phrase does not conceal a changed value.

What should stay unchanged during a test?

Keep the selected voice and delivery settings fixed while you edit one troublesome phrase. Listen to the original and revised versions, noting the name, number, or pause that changed. This is a method you can follow, not a claim that the example above was rendered and scored. When should you ask a Vietnamese speaker?

Ask about unfamiliar names, local place names and ambiguous abbreviations. In the script review, read the line aloud and keep turns short enough to follow. Do not remove intentional [bracketed] delivery cues merely because they resemble notes. After generation, check the full sentence in context, especially whether the two hosts repeat the same number consistently.
